Take Your Golf Game to the Next Level!

The Human Performance Center at St. Alexius Medical Center wants to help take your golf game to the next level by offering a choice of four programs that will help you improve:

  • Your understanding of the full golf swing.
  • Your swing mechanics.
  • Your consistency of ball contact, driving length, or both.
  • Your functional Golf strength and flexibility.
  • Overall confidence.

Choose one of four programs:

  • The Ace
  • The Eagle
  • The Birdie
  • The Par

Each program has a different combination of components which include:

  • Introductory Consultation – a time to discuss what you want from the program.
  • Exercise Testing and Prescription – your current fitness level will be determined and your exercise program mapped out for you.
  • 16 Week Fitness Program – you have 16 weeks to build stamina and strength as it relates to the game of golf.
  • Swing Analysis – your swing will be videotaped and then analyzed by a PGA golf professional.
  • 16 Functional Conditioning Sessions – In order to increase power specific to any athletic movement resistance must be applied at the appropriate intensity without interfering with the proper mechanics and speed of that movement. The “Power Cords” developed by Frappier Acceleration Sports Training are ideally suited for this purpose. The functional conditioning will consist of 16 one-half hour “Power Cord” sessions. These sessions will include swing instruction, alignment correction while hitting the golf ball with resistance provided by the “Power Cords”.
  • Dome Practice – each week during the months of March and April you will be provided with one coupon for a large bucket of balls from the Golf Dome.

If you are NOT interested in one of the four package choices, you can purchase other individual services such as a swing analysis by the PGA Pro, practice sessions, fitness membership, or personal training.
