Ulberg, Melissa – FNP-C

Melissa joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in August 2009. She works collaboratively with the Internal Medicine department in the care of residents of various local long term care facilities.

A native of Mandan, North Dakota, Melissa attended the University of Mary where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2000. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Nursing also at the University of Mary, where she became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2009.

Melissa has over 9 years of experience as a registered nurse, primarily working in surgery and critical care. Prior to joining Mid Dakota Clinic, she worked in the adult intensive care unit at St. Alexius Medical Center, the neonatal intensive care and surgical short stay units at Medcenter One, as head nurse/surgical assistant at Face & Jaw Surgery Center, and most recently as a registered nurse in the St. Alexius Emergency & Trauma Center.

Melissa is a member of Simga Theta Tau, the North Dakota Nurses Association and the North Dakota Nurse Practitioners Association. She is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and has completed the Trauma Nurse Core Course. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Dakota.
