Dr. Ruhland joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in August 2011, as the region’s only fellowship trained breast radiologist.
A native of Rugby, ND, Dr. Ruhland earned her undergraduate degree in economics from North Dakota State University in Fargo and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks. She completed an internship at the UND Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck where she was honored as Intern of the Year, followed by a radiology residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medical Education in Rochester, MN. Prior to joining the clinic, Dr. Ruhland completed a fellowship in breast imaging at the Mayo Graduate School of Medical Education in Scottsdale, AZ.
Dr. Ruhland is board-certified in general radiology with expertise in CT, MRI, x-ray and ultrasound. She specializes in imaging techniques that are a crucial component in breast cancer screening and diagnosis including mammograms, breast ultrasound, ultrasound-guided biopsies and stereotactic breast imaging. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, the Society of Breast Imaging, the American Association of Women Radiologists, the American Medical Association and the American Medical Women’s Association.
Dr. Ruhland is licensed to practice in North Dakota, Minnesota and Arizona.
