Cullen Receives 2006 Dick Vraa Memorial Award
The 2006 winner of the Dick Vraa Memorial ‘Outstanding Network Member’ Award is Myron Cullen MS, LATC, CSCS, Assistant Director of the St. Alexius Human Performance Center. President John Frappier presents an individual with the Dick Vraa Memorial Award every year at the annual conference. The award is given to outstanding individuals who most closely represent the qualities of Mr. Vraa. Dick Vraa possessed kindness and a passion about learning and teaching. Dick’s genuine commitment to helping kids and athletes achieve in sports is the message behind this award.
Cullen has been apart of the Human Performance Center (HPC) since its establishment in 1981. In 1990 Cullen and the HPC lead the way with a new program designed to enhance athletic performance. St. Alexius was the first facility in North Dakota to purchase the Frappier Acceleration Sports Training Program (FAST) from John Frappier, MS. FAST allowed St. Alexius to provide athletes the best in training to prepare for their chosen sport.
