
Lori grew up in Colfax, Wisconsin and did her undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin, in River Falls. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1982. She began her Chiropractic practice in 1986 after attending graduate school at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic. She received her Diplomate from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in 1986. Her post-graduate training was in sports injuries, acupuncture, nutrition and orthopedics. ollowing graduation she moved to Greeley, Colorado and began a private practice with her husband, Bob Gietzen for 16 years.
Lori has served as a consultant at the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners for ten years. Her personal treatment style is hands-on, using finesse rather than force. Her philosophy is to help patients return as quickly as possible to their highest level of functioning, using the least number of treatments. Lori joined the St. Alexius Center for Integrated Medicine in January of 2002.
