Marissa Wisdom, MD joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in July 2009, as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
A native of Washburn, ND, Dr. Wisdom received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from North Dakota State University. Following completion of her undergraduate degree, she served as a clinical research assistant with the Neuropsychiatric Research Institute in Fargo conducting research on eating disorders. Dr. Wisdom then attended the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks where she received her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2005. Prior to joining the Clinic, she completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City where she was chief resident in her final year, and was the sole recipient of the ‘Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures’ award sponsored by the AAGL.
Dr. Wisdom is a Junior Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She has a professional interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Wisdom is licensed to practice in the state of North Dakota.
