Dr. Traxinger joined the Family Medicine department at Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in August 2011.
A native of Minot, ND, Dr. Traxinger’s interest in the medical field began with her work experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Trinity Nursing Home in Minot. She went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and forensic science from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa. Dr. Traxinger completed a family medicine residency at the UND Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck in 2011.
Dr. Traxinger is certified in BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She is licensed to practice family medicine in the state of North Dakota.
