
Peggy joined the OB/GYN department at Mid Dakota Clinic in June 1985.
Peggy received her received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Mary. She also attended the OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner Program at Planned Parenthood of Minnesota in St. Paul and became a certified women’s health care nurse practitioner.
Prior to joining the clinic, Peggy was employed as a nurse assistant and staff nurse in the nursery at St. Alexius Medical Center. Her nursing career also included work at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fargo, Golden Valley Community Hospital in Beach and Deaconess Hospital in Billings, MT. In addition, Peggy was a part-time instructor of the Fundamentals of Nursing and Medical/Surgical Nursing, and full-time clinical instructor of maternity nursing at the Bismarck Hospital School of Nursing for 11 years.
Peggy is a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nursing, the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and the North Dakota Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also is a guest lecturer at the University of Mary on topics such as pap/pelvic exams, contraceptive methods and OB/GYN review. Peggy is licensed to practice in the state of North Dakota.
