Dr. Mustafa Kathawala joined the Gastroenterology Department at Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in December 2002.
Board-certified in Gastroenterology, Dr. Kathawala completed his gastroenterology fellowship and training at Providence Hospital and Medical Center in Michigan. He received his medical degree from Rabindranath Tagore Medical College in India and completed his internal medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Mercy-Oakland, Pontiac, Michigan, where he was chief resident. Prior to coming to Bismarck, Dr. Kathawala was chief fellow in gastroenterology at Providence Hospital and Medical Center in Southfield, Michigan.
Dr. Kathawala is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, America Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Physicians, Indian Medical Council, American Medical Association and North Dakota Medical Society. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Dakota and India.
