Dr. Johnson joined Mid Dakota Clinic Primecare in July 1998. A specialist in General, and Vascular surgery, he is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
A native of International Falls, Minnesota, Dr. Johnson completed training in Respiratory Therapy at East Grand Forks Technical College. He completed a master’s degree in Biology at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, where he also received his medical degree (M.D.). Dr. Johnson completed his surgery residency in Conneticut, at the Waterbury Hospital Health Center, Yale-New Haven Hospital, Hartford Hospital, and the West Haven Veterans Hospital. He previously worked at United Hospital in Grand Forks and was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Dakota.
Dr. Johnson is a surgeon member of the St. Alexius Medical Center Trauma Team. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, North Dakota Medical Association, and Sixth District Medical Association. He is licensed to practice general and vascular surgery in the state of North Dakota.
