Lisa Francis, MD, DCH, MRCPCH, FACR, is a board certified rheumatologist with The Clinics of St. Alexius and is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. After receiving her medical degree from Calicut Medical College in India, she completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in rheumatology at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, N.Y. She has also undergone postgraduate training in pediatrics in India and the UK.
She won the award for “Excellence in Research” at SUNY Upstate Medical University for 2009-2010. She has several publications in peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Francis is board certified in internal medicine and the subspecialty of rheumatology. She is a member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, American College of Physicians, American College of Rheumatology and International Society for Clinical Densitometry. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine, University of North Dakota.
