Dr. Erickstad joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in July 1983. Prior to joining Mid Dakota Clinic, he was Chief of the Family Practice Department at the U.S. Strategic Air Command Hospital at Grand Forks Air Force Base.
A graduate of Bismarck High School, he received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of North Dakota. He completed his family practice residency at the UND Family Practice Center in Bismarck and became certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1979.
In addition to his Family Medicine duties, Dr. Erickstad has pediatric, and minor surgical privileges. He is board-certified in emergency medicine, a field he has specialized in for some years. Dr. Erickstad is licensed to practice medicine in both North Dakota and Minnesota.
