Keith Happel, MD
Dr. Happel joined Mid Dakota Clinic in June, 2000, as a board-certified internal medicine specialist in both the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining Mid Dakota Clinic, he was on staff with MeritCare Clinic in Valley City, and also UniMed and Trinity Hospitals in Minot. He also served as chief of medicine at St. Michael’s General Hospital and Lethbridge Regional Hospital in Canada. His special interests are geriatrics and educating patients about healthy lifestyles and cardiovascular risk factor modifications. Dr. Happel received his medical degree from St. Thomas’ Hospital Medical School at the University of London, and completed his internal medicine residency at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, where he was also chief resident. Dr. Happel also served as a clinical lecturer in internal medicine at the University of Galgary. Dr. Happel is a member of the American Medical Athletic Association, American Heart Association, American Medical Association, and North Dakota Medical Association. He is licensed to practice internal medicine in North Dakota, Wyoming, Ohio, Alabama and Canada.
