Dr. Jayaram Bharadwaj, “Dr. Jay,” joined the Cancer Treatment & Research Center at Mid Dakota Clinic in October 2010.
Dr. Jay received a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Bangalore University in India. He went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Dharwar University in India followed by an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, Yeshiva University in Bronx. Dr. Jay served as chief medical resident at the Park Ridge Hospital in Rochester, NY for one year before moving on to a fellowship in medical oncology at University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Jay’s post-graduate employment experience includes: lecturer in medicine at Bangalore University, India; consulting internist in Bangalore, India; medical officer at Sangre Grande County Hospital in Trinidad, West Indies; work as a hematologist/oncologist, emergency room specialist and primary care physician at Tri-County Clinic/Sac Osage Hospital in Osceola, Mo., and, most recently, as staff hematologist/oncologist at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Mo.
Dr. Jay is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, American College of Physicians and American Medical Association. He is licensed to practice in North Dakota and Missouri.
