Sarah Ann Haugen Memorial Scholarship Awarded

Sarah Ann Haugen Memorial Scholarship announces the recipients for the 2007-2008 Bismarck State College/St. Alexius Paramedic Program.
They are:
- Amanda Bibb, New Salem
- David Donner, New Salem
- Amanda Engel, Bismarck
- Ashley Morgan, Lemmon, SD
- Randal Adam Parker, Cando
- Ryan Reis, Mobridge, SD
These students work with their local ambulance service as EMTs, and will graduate as Paramedics in May 2008. Each recipient will receive $500 toward their fall tuition payment.
The Sarah Ann Haugen Memorial Scholarship began eight years ago awarding paramedic students based on their application, academic achievement and financial need. It is funded through donations from any generous people and organizations supporting EMS and is named for the memory of Sarah Ann Haugen who died in 1996.
