We provide comprehensive psychiatric care for children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing psychiatric or social adaptation problems. We provide the following services:

- Interpersonal problems
- Thought disorders
- Depression
- Suicidal thoughts
- Anxiety
- Severe mood swings
- Grief issues
- Chemical dependency detoxification
Facility
St. Alexius Medical Center’s Psychiatry Center is a 16-bed adult unit and a 9-bed child and adolescent unit. It also has a classroom, kitchen/dining room, lounge, laundry room, recreation room with exercise equipment, a ping-pong table, a pool table and a piano. There are also consult/group rooms. All patients requesting behavioral and mental health services at St. Alexius will be directed to the intake coordinator at 701-530-7300. Admission to the unit must be made by physicians on the St. Alexius Medical Staff.
