Dr. Sanathana Murthy is a cardiologist/electrophysiologist specializing in cardiovascular diseases and cardiac arrhythmia affiliated with the Heart & Lung Clinic in Bismarck. He received his medical degree from the Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, India, and completed his internship training at the Bangalore University Hospital in Bangalore and residency at the Worcester City Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. He completed his cardiology fellowship training at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut and at Loma Linda University Medical Center, California. He completed a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center, Stanford, California. Dr. Murthy is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and the subspecialty of cardiovascular diseases and also in clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He has passed the examination of special competency in cardiac pacing. He is a Fellow of American College of Cardiology and American College of Chest Physicians and American College of Physicians. He is a member of North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology.
