Patricio Fernandez, MD Patricio Fernandez is a pediatric cardiologist and neonatologist with St. Alexius Specialty Clinics. Dr. Fernandez earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from La Salle University Medical School in Mexico City, Mexico. He completed residencies in Pediatrics and Neonatology at Pediatric Institute, Autonomous University of Mexico, also in Mexico City, Mexico. Dr. Fernandez completed post-graduate training in Pediatric Cardiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD; and Fellowships in Neonatology at University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY; Pediatric Cardiology at University of California San Diego and Interventional Cardiology at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada. Dr. Fernandez is the only full time pediatric cardiologist in the region.
