Louise Murphy, MD
Dr. Murphy joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in July 2003, as a board-certified family practice physician. She is married and the mother of three children. A native of Carrington, Dr. Murphy received her medical degree from the University of North Dakota, and completed her family practice residency at the UND Family Practice Center in Bismarck. She was honored in the May 2002 edition of the Ladies Home Journal as one of the nation’s top doctors for family practice as compiled by Castle Connolly, publisher of the consumer health guide America’s Top Doctors. Prior to joining the Clinic, she practiced for several years at the former Mandan Family Physician Clinic, and served as Associate Program Director and Assistant Dean of the UND School of Medicine, Southwest Campus, in Bismarck. Dr. Murphy is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the North Dakota Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association and the North Dakota Medical Association. She is a certified breast cancer specialist and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Dakota.
