Women’s Fitness Program

The Women’s Fitness Supervised Program is designed for those women who have not been on an exercise regimen, have special needs or just want a program developed especially for them.

In the supervised program you will receive:

    • Initial consult to review your health history
    • Flexibility, strength and cardiovascular fitness tests to determine your current fitness level and to assist in developing your exercise program
    • Cholesterol and blood sugar testing
    • Individualized aerobic exercise and strength training programs
    • Option to reserve the aerobic exercise equipment
    • Access to the walking track, locker room, jacuzzi and sauna

    As a Supervised Fitness Participant an individualized fitness program will be developed by an exercise physiologist to meet your needs in:

      • Weight loss
      • Strength training
      • Cardiovascular fitness
      • Heart disease risk reduction
      • Diabetes control
      • Flexibility

      Independent Program:
      If you are already on a regular fitness program, you may want to join as an independent member. You will have access to all of the exercise equipment, walking track, locker room, jacuzzi, and sauna, but the independent program does not include the fitness testing. You will, however, be instructed on how to safely use all of the equipment.

      Prenatal and Postnatal Program:
      Talk to our exercise physiologists about safe exercise options during pregnancy and postpartum.
