St. Alexius Diabetes Cooking School

St. Alexius Medical Center is starting a cooking school focused on teaching participants about Diabetes and how to make better decisions when it comes to cooking. Attendees will have access to dieticians and other booths with information focused on managing Diabetes.
The next session has been scheduled:
- Thursday, April 30, 2009
- 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
- St. Alexius Boniface Auditorium (10th Street and Rosser Ave.).
Topics to be discussed include identifying types of beans and rice, with a cooking demonstration, and label reading.
The cost for each session is $20 per person and includes program materials. Without program materials the cost is $10. Pre-registration is required. Please call 530-7860 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
