St. Alexius is starting a cooking school focused on teaching participants about Diabetes and how to make better decisions when it comes to cooking.
Attendees will have access to dietitians and other booths with information focused on managing Diabetes.
Each session will feature information on a different topic.
PORTION CONTROL
- Tuesday, March 31
- 7-9 p.m.
- Patient Access Entrance (10th Street & Rosser) Boniface Auditorium
Cindy Renner, PA-C, CDE will present information about why it is important to control the illness.
Kathy Stewart, LRD, CDE will present information about portion control.
Duane Ehrens will conduct a cooking demonstration.- Pre-registration is required for each session.
- The cost is $20 per person, which includes program materials.
- Without program materials the cost is $10.
- Please call Monday – Friday between the hours of 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. with additional questions and to pre-register at 530-7860.
