Brain Awareness Week

More than 55 million Americans are afflicted with a brain disorder – this is nearly 1 in 5 Americans.
St. Alexius Medical Center is partnering with thousands of health care organizations and the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives to mark Brain Awareness week, which is March 13 through the 19.
Brain Awareness week is dedicated to raising awareness about research being conducted to cure and understand the disorders that affect the brain. Diseases of the brain range from depression and addiction to strokes and Alzheimer’s to learning disabilities.
