FREE Screening for Vascular Disease

St. Alexius Medical Center, the #1 Heart Hospital in North Dakota, will be conducting a FREE vascular screening. The following screenings will take place: Peripheral Artery Screening- Screens for plaque buildup in leg arteries which can cause burning and discomfort in the legs. Carotid Artery Screening- Screens for plaque buildup in the arteries of the neck which can lead to stroke. Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening- Screens for enlargement (aneurysms) in the abdominal aorta.
The screenings will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2006 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Alexius Medical Center. Please use the South Visitor Entrance at 900 East Broadway. Please call 701-530-7550 to schedule an appointment. The screening fills up quickly.
