Screenings at the Clinics of St. Alexius in Minot will include:
- height
- weight
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- blood pressure
- cholesterol (total and HDL)
- sugar, bone density
Screenings will be followed by a brief visit with one of our three female physicians to review results.
- You’ll need to fast for 2 hours prior to being screened.
- Wear easy on/off socks and shoes and no full panty hose.

St. Alexius Presents Women’s Health Talk in Minot
St. Alexius Medical Clinic is holding a free health talk, entitled “Women’s Health: 10 to 60 in 50 minutes.” The talk will be presented by Dr. Jo Van Winter, St. Alexius family physician and former gynecologist at Mayo Clinic, on Thursday, May 20 at the Minot Sleep Inn. The talk will be held in the Sunrise Board Room, beginning at 7 p.m.Topics covered will include: the HPV vaccine; preventative exams – when to get them and when you can stop; hormone replacement drugs and much more. The talk will conclude with a roundtable discussion with family physicians June Carraher and Jo Van Winter and family nurse practitioner Renee Harju. Light refreshments will be served.
