Clinical Laboratory Science - Clinical Internship Site - Allied Health Schools
St. Alexius Medical Center, in conjunction with Northern Plains Laboratory, functions as an affiliate of the University of North Dakota and Bismarck State College. It is a clinical site for students pursuing a 4 year Bachelor of Science degree at the University of North Dakota (UND) and UND's affiliates in the Clinical Lab Science program such as the University of Mary. It is also a clinical site for students from Bismarck State College who are receiving an Associate of Arts degree in Clinical Laboratory Science.
Students acquire the required coursework at their respective college or university. After acceptance into their college or university's Clinical Laboratory Science program, they can apply/request to do their clinical rotations at St. Alexius Medical Center.
